Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?

I attend Chantilly High School, and I am a part of numerous clubs including Math Honor Society (where I have helped tutor other kids when they struggle with math topics) and DECA (where I competed at the district level and moved on to the state level). I also continue to take challenging and rigorous coursework with many AP classes including AP Calculus, AP Computer Science, AP Physics, and AP Language and Composition.

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

In past summers, I have tutored kids in elementary (3-7 grade) in both reading/writing and math. Being part of Math Honor Society in school, I have also volunteered to help other high schoolers when they are struggling with new material that they have learned or test corrections.

What subjects have you taught with Fairfax Collegiate in the past?

I am new as a Fairfax Collegiate staff member, but when I was younger, I attended many classes her including public speaking, math, and writing, so I am familiar with the organization and structure of the camp.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I am excited to build new connections and help these kids in whatever way I can when they are learning new materials.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I love to dance, bake, and paint whenever I get free time!
